The staff and doctors are top notch. They were finally able to properly diagnose my black lab for his ailments after I visited many other very expensive vets who couldn't figure it out. Luke and I say many thanks and Merry Christmas/ Happy New Year. 😊

In response to Mr. Burton, it is unfortunate that you felt you should have been able to get a prescription for medication for a cat we hadn't seen in 5 months. We advised that you needed an exam before we could write the prescription. This medication is not something simply handed out because you felt this is what the animal needed. The doctor spent a great deal of time working on this case for your pet. He even went to the trouble to look up medical papers for this disease and ensured that you had a copy for your own knowledge. He had the medicines compounded at a pharmacy in Vancouver, there are not many pharmacies able to compound this type of medicine. This medication also has neurological effects on felines and can only be used for a certain amount of time, so again this doctor was having to research the side effects and he was to do this without an exam......... There were no unnecessary tests ordered, these were tests that any compatent Veterinarian would have ordered. As far as the double charges, that was an error on our behalf and we reimbursed you the funds as soon as we were told what we did. At the time you seemed very understanding about the miscommunication. Unfortunately we are a very busy clinic and the girls are required to work as a receptionist and Vet Assistant, this means that these girls work in the front and the back. Sometimes they are assisting with emergencies, x rays, iv's, blood collection so they are not available to sit in the front area and wait for a client to walk in. We try to get all our clients in to an available room as quickly as possible.

Will NEVER go back and would not recommend. We had come to the time when our 14 year old Lhasa had to be put down. It was the most traumatic experience my husband and I have gone through. That was 2 years ago and we both still have nightmares and feel that we let our dog down. They were not compassionate, they had her yelping, when they shaved her leg it was raw and bleeding. They did not even say that they were sorry for our loss.

terrible! Receptionist was rude when I asked for the Doctors name who treated my dog... she asked, 'WHY'.. I was like; I want to know who to contact back... she stated 'WHY' twice before I was able to get the doctors NAME... very unprofessional!

I will never come back to this vet!!! The staff is very unpleasant and as for the vets cant speak English. I took my 1 year old dog in to get spayed and she was very sick after. I took her back a few days later and they keep telling me everything was ok. I knew my baby girl and she was definitely NOT ok!!! And 2 days later I woke up to her and she had passed over night. Glen Mountain was not understanding and couldn't care less. They weren't even willing to pay for her autopsy to see where they went wrong!! Not only this their vet clinic was dirty and very un organized!!!!!I will spread this around to everyone and sooner than later this place will hopefully be shut down!!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Never bring your pet to glen mountain animal hospital!
