Dr. Rana is not only an expert in his field but he has the passion to what he does and that what makes Lansdowne Animal Hospital stands out from the rest!

VERY good place and very nice and knowledgeable people! Not sure what the other poster's problem was but i disagree! They are orientated to do the best for your pet! In my case my Cat. Been to other places and none offer as much true care as this place! Dr Rana is amazing!

It's all about money. My girlfriend hated this place right in the beginning. But I thought the regular check up was okay in the beginning. Now when more critical problems arise, I see their values and priorities. Seems like money first, health care for animal comes next. Until they can treat my dog for the best of his interest, rather than how much they can get for surgeries and medication, I'm not going back. My dog has liver problem. First bad experience was when my dog torn one of his ligament, Dr. Rana suggests my 12 y.o maltese to go through surgery which will require anesthesia (bad for liver), antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, painkillers, for about 3 months. All the medications will affect his liver. His reasoning is that, if my dog doesn't get surgery, he will have scar tissues buildup which will could lead to arthritis. Health care is about weighing benefits versus risks. Any surgery could cause scar tissues build up leading to arthritis. Surgery does not mean there will be no arthritis later. My second bad experience is when I try to buy his medication from somewhere else, they refused to fax the prescription to other clinics. Their reasoning is that it's not their practice to do so. And it's not a prescription, it's a supplement. Many animal clinics require a prescriptions. The 4 clinics that have in stock require them. I said my dog needs it because I've used up. They don't have it in stock. They could order for me and it will take 1 week. They will NOT fax over the prescription for WHATEVER reason, and there's nothing they can do other than wait for 1 week. As people who work in animal health care, they can't write a few words on a paper and fax over to another clinic. What's the reason? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times? Nope, I'm never going back again. NEVER.
