Be forewarned. This is the most expensive and least competent grooming service I have ever experienced. Miniature Schnauzer cost $79.10. If you leave your dog with them, write down every detail of how you want it groomed. I have never seen such a misinterpretation of instruction and when they were asked to make what corrections were necessary to give me remotely what I wanted, they again totally acted counter to my instructions. In current vernacular it would be termed a cluster f * * *.

Dr. Morrison and Dr. Edwards have been caring for our rescue Dalmatians over a period of 10 years - Dr. Morrison for ten and Dr. Edwards for three. Both are patient, concerned and caring practitioners. Having lost several rescue Dals to old age and associated complications, I am grateful to have such honest and supportive partners to comfort us through the palliative care and final stage of our beloved dogs. I am always well informed regarding treatment options, possible side effects, and costs beforehand. I highly recommend this clinic and extended staff to all pet owners.

Thank you so much for the outstanding care and attention you give to my dog Gracie, every Tuesday while she is at "Doggie Daycare". Gracie loves going there and playing all day wih her four-legged friends. We love how exhausted she is when we pick her up. She often falls asleep on the car ride home and is so well behaved all evening as she has had her fill of exercise during the day. That is saying alot considering she is a high energy Australian Shephard!! She knows and is comfortable with all our your staff so I know that she must get attention for them throughout the day . I hadn't intended to post this review, however, I came across this opportunity to review the Barriefield Animal Hospital because I was Google'ing the clinic contact information to send to a friend. I have now recommended the clinic, and veterinarian Dr. Cameron Morrison, to several friends, who are likewise very impressed. I live just north of Kingston, and it is wonderful to have such a caring vet so close to home. I am very happy to have found Dr. Morrison. He strikes me as a wise and highly skilled clinician and I have now recommended him to several friends as well. He is very gentle with my cats, and has a calm energy that the animals really respond to. He managed to immunize my cats without them even knowing what was happening. Dr. Morrison has helped me with two difficult medical problems - one of our cats had a rare congenital defect which he promised to research; two days later, I received a package of reading material in the mail - he had read through it, and highlighted the areas for me to consider. I was really struck by his commitment to helping my pet, and to helping me make difficult decisions. It was extra work on his part, completely unpaid, but much appreciated. The staff at the hospital are wonderful - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about the place. Not to mention it's cheaper than the vets downtown Kingston - I can highly recommend Dr. Morrison and the warm staff at Barriefield Animal Hospital.
