Except for a few years, I’ve been a client of Beardall’s for the past 30 years. I remember meeting Dr. Chamberlain when I was heavily pregnant and my beautiful German Shorthair Retriever sliced her paw (deep) on some glass during our morning walk – I had just arrived in Kingston from Toronto, where the Summerhill veterinary clinic I went to there had recommended Beardall’s to me before I moved. I was extremely relieved to get such excellent care for “Thessa” that morning, as well as many other subsequent visits for porcupine quills, and many cat issues too. I am very grateful for the personable and reliable service I’ve received over the years from Dr. Chamberlain in particular, but also Dr. Jones, and Dr. Thompson. And I can’t forget the administrative and tech staff either – a month ago I called to get a refill on stibestrol for one of my dogs – and it was ready the same day! And then there is the best picture taken ever of one of my dogs (Roxy) that appears on her statements/bills – every time I see it my heart turns to mush. From P.T

In the beginning my experience was great, the staff there are very friendly and very helpful. My small animal had a bad infection which caused here bowel problems and the vet at the time did as much as she could, trying new medications one some didn't work. But it seemed like she got frustrated and gave up basically because she told me there was nothing else I could do and she would have to be put asleep. The vet went away for a week, so I saw Dr. Chamberlin and she did an exam on my pet and found out what the problem was immediately (when the other vet really didn't know why or what was wrong) In a matter of 2 weeks the problem went away and things have been fine ever since. . I think when you have no more answers you should be able to ask for help, because if I would have given up than my animal would be dead right now. Because of this reason I only see Dr. Chamberlin

Our family has probablt spent over $5,000 in the last 3 years at Beardall's so I have had lots of experience dealing with your people. The vetinary care has been excellant but very pricey. Recent Problems: 1. We ordered cat food and got a call that it was in. We drove all the way in to get the food, paid and came home. Then we discovered that it was the wrong food and the attached invoice was for a lady doctor's cat. We called and were told that our food was on the shelf! ANOTHER TRIP TO TOWN! 2. We took the cat in for blood work and were given 6 days of pills and told we would be called if another prescription was needed. NO CALL after 6 days so we called you and were told that we did need more pills. We had just come home from town so back we went. .

The Staff at Beardall Animal Hospital are always kind and patient with my dog . We always receive an appointment within days. Prescription refills are done over the phone and filled within hours. Every aspects of care are discussed at each visit. Thank you for the care.

The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and the animal technicians are very helpful in answering questions for me about animal care. Dr. McPherson is an awesome veterinarian who through her expertise has accurately diagnosed and treated my animals carefully and with compassion.
