I just recently moved to the area, and found this amazing and quaint doggy daycare called Lakeview pet wellness center....absolutely in love with these guys...they take awesome care of my Ava when she goes for boarding and daycare.The staff is very personable and very welcoming, it didn't take them long to know both me and my boxer's by name every morning. They even have outside runs so when the weather is nice they can stay out a little longer, while taken care of each and every dog with the care they need and even wash her up for the weekends for free every Friday. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the Southside/Irondale/Avondale/Downtown area

We left our two dogs at the Lakeview Pet Wellness Center because we got last minute tickets to the Iron Bowl and our regular vet was booked up already. For two nights we left two dogs there and we went ahead and got their shots done since they were due this month. Not only did we come back to an unreasonable bill of over $500, our dogs both got kennel cough from the facility. Neither of our pets have ever had any health issues except a flea allergy for one of them that is really hard to deal with during Alabama summers. Unfortunately this facility exposed both of our pets and they are now sick. I am still waiting to hear word from the Vet to let us know how they are going to deal with this issue. It is my opinion that they should treat them both for the illness they caused with out charging us for the treatment. We will see how they choose to deal with it but I will never return and advise others not to take the risk.
