After rescuing a stray kitten recently, I've started using Grants Mill Animal Hospital as my primary vet. It's quite nice for the following reasons: 1) Very nice, clean modern facility. Free beverages and cute pet books in the waiting room, nice, clean comfortable exam rooms for pets. There is even a giant cat tree in the pet boarding area. You can tell no expense was spared to make this a nice and comfortable place for people and pets. 2) Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can tell everyone here is a pet owner who genuinely cares for animals and they won't hesitate to show some love for yours. They have good senses of humor and a gentle way with animals. The staff and particularly Dr. Lindsey Petras are also very knowledgeable and have no difficulty answering questions about your pet's health.

The staff are very friendly and clearly care about your pets. I have brought our dog in while he has been ill and received such prompt diagnosis and care that I am changing vet for both of my dogs. They have boarded there also and seemed to be quite happy when I picked them up. I will definitely use this vet again. Dr Petras is extremely personable and I have been impressed so far.

My experience with Grants Mill Animal Hospital was absolutely wonderful. I woke up to a sick dog unable to walk and running an extremely high fever. I took Bodhi to Grants Mill since it was closest to where I live, because honestly I didn't think she could wait. Dr. Petras was attentive, kind, and very professional. The whole staff made sure Bodhi was well taken care of. Also, I feel that my bill was extremely reasonable and fair. I will definitely bring Bodhi back to Dr Petras from now on.

Due to its convenient location, my family had been considering for a while to switch to Grants Mill Animal Hospital. When our dog got sick, we had our opportunity. Dr. Petras was able to see us on a Sunday, which was a major plus, helping us avoid waiting several days to help our sick pet. We were very impressed by the interior of the building: It was very clean and new, not smelling like "the vet." The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and painless. Dr. Petras was knowledgeable and personable, even telling us that a few procedures could wait and were not necessary at that time. This gave me confidence that she wants what is best for my dog rather than trying to get as much money out of us as possible. I highly recommend you take your pet to Grants Mill Animal Hospital.
