Best place to take your animals! Dr. Mary Katherine Cross and ALL the girls are so kind and friendly. They truly love our pets! Very competent as well! Prices are better than most in Mobile. It may not look like much from the outside, but this historic little house is full of love and excellent care for our pets. The best in Mobile conveniently located in Midtown Mobile! Keep up the good work, ladies!

Love this place. They are so great with my lab, Mercy. Mercy is afraid of everything and not sure about people she does not know. the ladies there made instant friends with her. Mercy has no problem leaving me and going with them for treatments and a checkup. I have no problem recommending Old Shell Road Small Animal Hosp.

We initially chose this place because it is right down the street from us, but boy were we lucky! Fantastic staff that makes you feel like part of a family. They know my animals by name and ask after them when I stop by. Our dog gets so excited to go in when we pull up to Old Shell Animal Hospital, which I think says it all. We will continue to go there for a long time to come. Definitely would recommend this special place to others.

I have been taking my cat to Old Shell Road Small Animal Hospital for almost two years. When I first made an appointment with Dr. Cross for my rescue kitten I had just been turned away by a different veterinarian office because they had forgotten about the appointment. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Cross an hour later, and was pleasantly surprised when I met her face to face. Dr Cross took over 15 minutes to sit down and talk with me about my kitten to get to know her personality and schedule. She made me feel completely at ease and I have been going to her office ever since. Each time we go in to meet with Dr. Cross she takes the time to check in on how both my cat and I are doing. The staff at Dr. Cross' office are incredibly helpful, friendly, and a joy to see.
