We go to Dr. David Smith for our beloved 16 year old poodle and his expert knowledge and attention to every detail and caring so much about the animals he is treating has definitely contributed to our dogs longevity. He is always there for you to answer your questions and treats the animals like they were his own. I cannot say enough good things about him and this town is very lucky to have him. Beware, not a good one at all. I would not recommend them. They overcharged me to start with but through checking as to why, they will be refunding the amount I was overcharged which is good and will give that to them. The second part is the worst and my greatest concern (money isn't), my dog lost a lot of weight!!!! They can't force her to eat, I understand that, but I am not sure they fed her all the food I took. I took - pre bagged - 14 bags of food, enough for 7 days. When I got home I got back 2 pre bagged packages, a skinny dog and she was so traumatized I couldn't believe it. I called about my dog to check on her while I was gone and I was told that "she is eating good and doing just fine, just missing her mommy." She did not eat good and I should have been informed of that as I had a plan B and would have switched to that one but then they would be out that money. She whined and whimpered for hours and was trembling the whole evening. That is not like this dog. So beware, my dog will never ever go near that vet hospital again. Money, not the animal, seems to be their top priority, this is my personal opinion based on a very very bad experience!!

Dr. Smith and her staff are the best! Both caring and professional. I have been taking my pets there for over 12 years. No matter the animal or the problem Dr. Smith as Always taken great care with my pets. She understands pets aren't just animals they are family. When my daughter got a register Golden Retriever puppy for her birthday we took him in to Dr. Smith for a check up. Unfortunately the puppy we had bought from a reputable dealer ( so we thought). Sold us a sick dog, my daughter was already attached to her new puppy when we brought the puppy into Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith saved her puppy life and kept us updated on his condition everyday he was there. I have never met a vet more caring and compassionate than Dr. Smith and am proud to call her my family vet.

Any time we have a guest visiting our Bed and Breakfast we always refer them to All creatures hospital for their pet services. Everyone has always come back commenting how attentive and thoughtful the staff was to them and their pets. Dr. Smith and her team are caring professionals who are not only good at what they do but love what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone.

My family and I moved to Hot Springs a year ago with two older dogs. We went to a few different clinics that were not worth a second trip. Then, by recommendation, we settled on Dr. Smith's All Creatures Animal Clinic. They properly treated my old girls and always gave outstanding service. We traveled quite a bit this year and boarded both dogs on several occasions. Both dogs would come back clean happy and relaxed. The prices are the same as everywhere else. Despite how busy they are, I have always gotten same day services and Dr. Smith will usually answer the phone right away if you have a medical question. When you first meet Dr. Smith, you will see she is fast and efficient. Once she learns you and your dogs, she is very personable to boot. The staff is very busy but I have yet to see them drop the ball on any of my request, appointment etc...
