This is the worst clinic i have ever been too. I called them Tuesday night 5-28-13 to report that my dog had broke his dew claw and needed it removed asap. They said bring him in and i asked for a payment plan for the surgery and they said they would do it. They did not tell me how much it was. I dropped him off at 8a.m. on Wednesday morning. Came back at 4:30 to pick him up. I asked how much the cost was and if i could pay 50 today and 50 Friday because thats what i could do and they had already told me that i could do a payment plan. They rudely said that i could not do that and i had to pay in full or i could not get my dog back. Then they countered the offer and said i could pay 50 and receive my dog back and not his pain medication which was ridiculous. They DVM Kelly is very rude and so is her staff and i am never going back to this clinic again they are horrible with customer service and are not knowledgeable with anything if you ask questions you have to be put on hold and when your in the office you have to wait 30 min for an answer. They did not give me any information on the medication so i had to call another vet to figure out how to give the appropriate dosage to my dog. I am very outraged by this and on top of it all he has an infection now. I would highly not recommend this clinic to anyone that truly cares about there animals.

I have been a client at Kelly Vet Clinic since 2009. I lived in Hot Springs when I first visited this clinic but have since moved over an hour away but this doesn't stop me from making the trip to Hot Springs with my pets to see Dr. Kelly. I have 5 cats and 4 dogs that she takes care of for my family. I made the mistake of trying to find another vet for one of my previous pets. The new vet didn't give the proper care to my dog so I took her back to Dr Kelly, unfortunately for me, it was too late to save her. I will continue to take my pets to her no matter what distance I have to travel. She is always available to talk to me about my pets either in person or on the phone. She takes the time to make sure I understand what is wrong with my pets and how to continue treatment at home. Her staff is the best at what they do as well. Melissa, Brandon, Sally, Heaven, Carol and Holly have been fantastic to me, my family and pets! I am not sure what the situation was in the first post, but I can't imagine Dr. Kelly would ever treat a client in the manner described. That is not the Dr Kelly I have come to know over the past three almost four years. I have also adopted four of my cats from Paws and Claws and have been in the clinic when they have come in, I again can't imagine that they would have anything less than good things to say about Dr. Kelly. If the post is referring to the employees of the pet store speaking poorly about her, I would hope they are willing to back up what they say, unless of course they the are figments of ones imagination. If you quote is given, maybe one should cite the source as I can't believe employees of the local pet store actually know Dr. Kelly. Maybe they were just being nice to you.

I visited Kelly Vet recently. I take care of strays and ferals around me. I had a stray that has stomatitis and a very hard time eating. The staff was wonderful and they made me feel like they cared. I don't normally have to spend money on strays but this little girl was attacked. They were supposed to charge me a fee for sedating her so they could check her. They didn't. They gave me extremely reasonable rates, and exceptional care for my animals. This was my first experience with them, but they are now my core vet and I will always do business with them. Highly recommend!
