Love Doc and Nikki. Have been taking my babies there since 2005. The office visits, tests, meds. etc are EXTREMLY a good price. The care of service is great! The waiting can be a bit long at times and the building is not in the newest condition but aside from that this place is wonderful. Much worth the time and money and the distance, since I live in Sherwood. Won't go anywhere else, just hope Doc doesn't retire anytime soon!!

Very impressed with the friendly staff, very caring, detail oriented, listen to what I said, fast to clear pets problem, prices were so reasonably priced, I couldn't believe I was walking out of a veterinarian office visit for under $100. I only paid less than $65.00 for everything Bringing my other dogs to next week

Boarding service was average. I boarded 2 hounds for 13 days over the Christmas holiday. Both dogs were calm and well nourished upon pick up. Customer Service is SLOW! It took me 30 minutes to fill out paperwork to drop the dogs off. Half of that time was waiting and watching the lady at the counter take her time and complain about how busy she was. Pick up was no different, as the ladies behind the counter were super slow and complaining about how busy they were. After watching the lady take 10 minutes to fill out a log sheet detailing the dog's stay (Shouldn't that have been completed daily instead of all at the same time??? curious...), I was informed I also needed to pay 15 dollars for "Kennel cough" shot for each dog in addition to a 1 dollar charge per day to dispense medication. Why? The dogs received a Kennel Cough Shot in May from a vet in Texas when we kenneled them prior to moving, which was good for a year, and our dog only required 1 fish oil pill at meal time. The answer? They only recognize a 6 month kennel cough shot. I told them the shot was a 1 year shot given in may, and both dog's medical records said "1 year" next to the shot date. They didn't care. Evidently they make a practice of making their own rules for medicine. Also, 1 dollar isn't much to charge for medicine dispense, but tell me in advance instead of letting me see it on the bill after i have already paid. To end the matter, the groomer questioned my judgement in having the dogs ride home in the bed of my truck... They're hound dogs... They always ride in the bed of my truck... Bottom Line: Cheap and clean place, but be prepared for slow service, and extra charges...

I brought my baby, a pomeranian, to this clinic. I chose it because it had good reviews. But now I wish I had gone somewhere else. When I brought Sammy (my dog) to the vet he was having trouble walking. Dr. Misak diagnosed him with luxating patella in both of his back legs. We scheduled surgery as soon as possible. But since he was in pain Dr. Misak gave him pain medication (Deramaxx). We brought him home and the very next day he started itching and had a seizure. Well he had been known to have seizures occasionally so we didn't think there was anything seriously wrong. Well a week went by and it was a few days to his surgery. By this point he could hardly hold himself up and his chest was raw from scratching so bad. Not to mention he was having seizures every day. That night he had a very bad seizure and could not move at all. He threw up all the food he had eatin and a lot of mucas. I was having to hydrate him myself and sat up with him all night. The following day we called Dr. Misak and brought him in for an emergency appointment. Thinking it could possibly be epilepsy. Dr. Misak decided to keep him overnight to sedate, hydrate and start on epilepsy medication. Thinking it would be ok I left my baby there. I called the next morning to see how he was. And was informed he had passed away. I have since learned that Sammy was suffering from at least four of the side effects of an allergic reaction or overdose of Deramaxx, the pain medication Dr. Misak gave him. I also was given no information on this medication from the vet. And upon looking it up online discovered it is very dangerous. And often tests should be done before administering it. None were done on Sammy. It's to late to save my baby. But I'm hoping by posting this it might help save someone elses. Thank you and God bless.
