My dog died during the night and I called All Creatures in the morning to have her cremated. The first thing out of the receptionists mouth were prices and times, no "I am sorry for your loss", no sympathy at all. This was several weeks after I had taken her in for some issues she was having and was told that there was nothing wrong with her. When I took my dog in there were no words of comfort just the quickness of getting a tag for her. She was wrapped in a blanket and as I handed her off I had to explain where her head was. She was quickly taken away and the next issue was money. Still no "I am sorry for your loss". 1 1/2 months later I received a sympathy card. I understand that businesses are busy and have a regiment they must follow but I believe that better training of staff would be a huge benefit to this vet clinic. I have changed vets since I would rather have someone who is kind and caring look after my other dogs.

I called the emergency hotline after hours because my puppy had been hit by a car. (coughing up blood and barely breathing) I was told that the vet would call me back ASAP. After about 30 minutes of waiting I called back and was told at that point that there were 4 other callers before me. This should have been mentioned the first time I called. Being a very worried puppy owner I asked if there were any other emergency numbers I could called for surrounding offices and she bluntly answered no. I did not have the time to wait for the vet so I looked for other offices myself and found 3 other emergency numbers! I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and will definitely never take my animal to All Creatures.
