This place is not only expensive ($50.00 for two ounces of iodine, priced $6.95 for 16 ounces at another vet), but the staff and doctors are rude. The minimum charge for a prescription fill is $25.00, so even one pill is $25.00. I had to get an antibiotic for my dog and they charged me $32.38. My regular vet told me she charges $12.00 for the exact same medication with the same dosage and she would have given me the iodine for free. An office visit is $54.00 which is on the high side, but OK. What they do not tell you is that is just to walk into the door, anything besides a heart rate check and a temperature check is additional. For rabies they charge $54.00 office visit plus $35.00 for the shot, so a total of $89.00. My vet charges $10.00 total for rabies. I heard them threaten on lady with animal control when she said she was going to purchase the medicine for her dogs elsewhere because they were just too expensive. They told her they were a "reporting agency" and if she didn't get the medicine from them, they would have no choice but to do a formal complaint against her with animal control. Who needs to go to a vet like that? She told them she had already called another vet and she could get the medicine for half what they were charging; but she ended up getting it from them. This was a nice looking older woman whose dogs were obviously very well cared for. Avoid these people at all costs!
