I take my cat to be groomed at Petsmart regularily and I decided to put my trust in Banfield Pet Hospital because I figured Petsmart would not house an entity that would not offer exceptional services. I was wrong. I took my cat to Banfield for the first time on 9/2/2013 due to a possible ear infection. $200 later I was sent home without a diagnosis - they didn't think it was an ear infection and didn't know if she had ear mites because they didn't show up on the swab they did. They sent me home with what was supposed to be 8 days worth of medicine. It ran out on the 6th day. I called the day it ran out and was supposed to get a refill and no one called me back. I was told it was because they had 4 emergencies that day. I guess if I had brought my cat in and been willing to pay double they would have provided me with what I was asking for. Her ear was visibly swollen at her appointment and for whatever reason the vet did not think to send me home with a cone to put on her to lessen the scratching. Now her ear isn't much better than it was and I'm going to be charged an additional $70+ for additional medicine that they screwed up on and a new medicine for her ear because of the scratching. They obviously are not very responsible at being accountable for their errors. Needless to say I will not be taking my cat back here unless I want to be RIPPED OFF again.
