Seems to put business and procedure ahead of pet health. Tried to renew heart worm preventative and it took the clinic 24 hours to get back to me to say first an appointment for heart worm test would be needed. I'm not sure why this wasn't known and proactively scheduled previously if standard procedure at the end of the first course of a puppy's heartworm prevention. I can't personally get in for an appointment for 3-4 weeks and the clinic would rather the dogs go without preventative in the interim rather than doing something rational like extending the preventative for 1 month until the next appointment. The doctors seemed caring and knowledgeable during our visits. I have a feeling there is a disconnect when doc delegates communication to staff and suddenly relaying the message verbatim takes precedent over sensible care decisions. Bottom line, whatever the root cause, I need to find a clinic that will look out for my pets health a bit more effectively.

I would NOT reccomend using this vet!! I am an animal lover and all about taking care of my pets and giving them the best which is why I paid the prices.. but enough is enough!! Within the few months that we went to Eastlake Village Veterinary Clinic we experienced: 1) Dr. B's insane response of shouting at me 2) A response time of 3-5 days when calling with a question 3) Being out right disrespected This place is waaaaaay pricey and I'm not sure that anything I paid for was neccessary. I wish I checked online the references for this vet. It looks like I'm not the only one that is unhappy with the clinic.. Pet owners beware

I agree with previous postings, do not use this vet!. I tried to get a prescription from Dr. Bischel for the online pharmacy. The first time she refused to give it unless I pay her $25 for each prescription. (i checked online and according to the ethical board of vets iit is unethical to charge for prescription) The second time she would ignore my calls and from the online pharmacy (1800petmeds) for 8 days. When my husband went to get the actual prescription so we can faxed it to the pharmacy ourselves she gave us a letter that there is a danger to buy medication somewhere else and if we still want to do that she refuses us further service. Can you believe that!!! I moved to this area 8 months ago and chose this vet because it had a convenient location. I wish I checked online the references for this vet. It looks like I'm not the only one that is unhappy with the clinic

I inherited this vet from my cat's former owner, who asked me to keep using their services because he was so happy with this office. I have found the groomers there to be exceptional and priced within an average range. Unfortunately I can not say the same for the veterinary services. The last straw was when I was told my pet needed a teeth cleaning that was going to cost about $500, I had done this the year before at this clinic, and the cost at that time was about $250. I recieved a second opinion that this proceedure was not needed on my pet. So, I will stick with using the grooming services, but am done with vet care here.

I called this place to set up an appointment for my dog. I asked what their hours are and was told that they are open until 7:00 p.m. I then asked for a 6:00 p.m. appointment and was told that they don't schedule any appointments after 5:45 p.m. so that they can leave at 6:00 p.m.
