Very experienced and can rest at ease with knowledgeable veterenarian

After a bad experience on Bonita Road, a friend in the marina referred me to her favorite clinic to get my cat examined. She trusted Dr. Herron and it sounded like he was the kind of doctor I had worked for many years in another state. I wasn't disappointed. Sensible approach, no outlandish diagnosis, no extreme testing and surgery. My cat had hair balls and it took Dr. Herron only a few minutes at the exam table to find out that problem and tell me what to do to treat it. How very refreshing to meet an honest vet in California. At another time when he was on vacation I was referred by his very competent staff to another clinic and was treated well, so he refers to a vet who he trusts to take care of his patients. The Pet Clinic is a small no frills clinic where pets are treated with respect as well as their owners, and everyone really cares about animals, far more than the dollars they can bring. Pay the rent, pay the employees, maintain the premises, keep up the inventory, pay the doctor and make a profit. It is a simple plan that works, because it really doesn't do any good to gouge the clients as most of them know when it is happening as evidenced by the comments on other clinic/hospital sites. I will stay with the real veterinarian, not the wanna be M.D./elite specialist. I completely trust Dr. Herron. He is excellent! RMA
