(No one is perfect, so All Creatures gets 4 stars.) Dr. Ben has looked after our cats and dog for the last several years. His vet techs are fine, and the office staff pretty well organized and getting better, although waits are often rather long, even in the morning (overbooking?). Dr. Ben himself is knowledgeable and efficient, and gentle with the animals. I think his pricing is fair for the Bay Area, and he doesn't throw expensive treatments at every symptom, as our previous vet did. When our much-loved old dog was diagnosed with bladder cancer, he and his staff took good care of her, and sent us flowers, and a donation to the U.C. Davis vet school in her memory, after she was euthanized. We'll be bringing our new pooch to Dr. Ben later this year.
