My dog got ran over and El Monte Dog & Cat Hospital did not use it as an excuse to overcharge me (unlike TLC). They were 200% cheaper and way more sympathetic than TLC. Their office might not be as stylish as TLC, but their staff is caring, organized, and thorough. I would ecommend this place to everyone!

The doctor had always been rude to my sister and I when we brought our dog here, but we shrugged this off every time because the Dog & Cat Hospital is cheaper than most places. Since 2005, we had brought our dog in because she was limping. Dr. Wang told us time and again that she had arthiritis. This December, he said the same thing and sent us away with medication. Again, he seemed quite uncaring and unwilling to elaborate on his answers to our questions. The very next day, THE MEDICATION HE PRESCRIBED MADE MY DOG VOMIT EVERY 15 MINUTES for 10 hours. We had to rush our dog to an emergency vet, where he told us that Dr. Wang misdiagnosed her. The medication could have resulted in stomach ulcers. We had enough and took my dog to another veterinarian. Once this new vet walked in the door, he told us that my dog didn't even have arthiritis. Please be aware of this place. Hopefully their staff can turn things around.

This is the best vet experience I've had since I moved to San Gabriel Valley. The staffs are friendly, the doctor is genuine and super nice. The price is reasonable. It's very busy on Saturday though, I waited almost an hour. But it won't stop me from bringing my other pets to there.

My dog had an infection well they mad it better the staff was so caring to the animals i love going there i have 4 dogs and they love it there to whenever i take them they get excited but i epically i love the price!!!
