I'm trying to be impartial-- but these people genuinely ripped me off and it's disgusting how they could exploit clients like this. Quick story: My dog had some breathing issues. I had no idea what it was and I was scared. The doctor seemed nice but briefly states she's going to take some tests and give some medicine, then leaves with my dog. She doesn't mention price or go over the necessity of the procedures or other options. In comes a vet tech, tells me to sign some document and I'm cornered in a situation (dog already taken) and I didn't even have time to ask if there were other options. I didn't even have enough money in my bank account and her response was this indifferent "well sucks to be you, you better pay" look as she responded that I had to pay before the treatment was done. I literally had to borrow money that day to pay for the ridiculous fees for things that I now know weren't even needed. Worse, the ~$100 of medicine I was given didn't do anything. Factor in the fees for the unnecessary tests and I literally wasted about half a grand FOR NOTHING. I talked to THREE other veterinarians, two of whom work at UC Davis, and they all had the same opinion that the clinic took gratuitous measures for something that was most likely kennel cough or that I could've just tried other options like a run at antibiotics first (something the doctor didn't even mention). I know a lot of clinics try to squeeze the money out of clients at times, but this is unbelievable... This is the last time I'm going to this clinic for any of my pets. I advise you all to consider the same as I've lost all trust in them as practitioners. I just see them as salesmen.

we took a rednose pocket pitt for a attack on her neck and she was eptileptic she had 35 seziures and they did at least $1500 dallors worth of work for free and only had me pay 25 for pills they always have great attitudes when i go in they are the best in the hd

We just had a scare with our dogs where I dropped a pain pill meant for a 175 lb dog and my 15 lb dog ate it (or so I thought-fortunately we found the pill). We called this vet, told them the medicine and the dosage and asked if this would be a problem and should we bring the dog in. They refused to offer any advice over the phone and said if we think the dog is having any problems then we might want to bring her in. We called another vet that we use and trust (but is quite a distance farther) and they said Rush her in now! She has to get her stomach pumped! We'll be lucky if we can even get her into a vet in time before it kills her!! I can't believe that VCA Victor Valley Animal Hospital is either so uncaring or so ignorant that they couldn't even say yes this medicine is dangerous for a small dog so bring her in. They could have just killed our dog. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen, so you guys might want to get either smarter vets or more caring policies.

Very clean and inviting facility. Vets were friendly and took care of our needs in a timely manner. Only place I'll go from now on

i took my dog to this place and spend close to $1000 just to remove the fox tail from his paw.after surgery, they said it was successful operation and fox tail was removed. but it never got better.i took him back and they wanted me to pay the same amount again to do the operation again.they treated me like i did something wrong.
