I love Eastridge Animal Hospital. I would not take my cat, Fritzie,, to any other vet other than Dr. Jewell Reese. I have had cats for years and known many vets in various places but I would not write a review or recommend any of them except for one other, a Dr. Burton in Benicia. He has retired. I recommended Dr. Reese to my daughter, Pam, for their dog, Casey. She is very pleased with Dr. Reese as well. The atmosphere is congenial and everybody enjoys Turkey, the entertaining bird, who makes meow sounds to amuse people and their companion animals.

This is the only vet I have found that I love. They are all very nice and friendly, and I feel they actually care about my dog. Dr Reese is very friendly with the animals, she gets down to my dogs level and comforts him when he's nervous. Pricing is also very reasonable as well! Only place I feel like I'm not getting ripped off. Most importantly they always take great care of my puppy.

We had been referred to Dr. Reese/Eastridge by a few different people so we checked her office out when it was time for shots. There were a couple of things that were different right off the bat. First, we were allowed to accompany our dog back to the exam room - something our previous Vet didn't offer. Then, when Dr. Reese came in the exam room, she laid down on the floor with the dog! Nose to nose. Ok, I thought it was a little weird. And yes, I've since learned it's normal, but our old Vet didn't operate that way so it was a little surprising. This woman clearly loves animals. She spent a lot of time making him feel comfortable before and during the exam and while administering the shots. Oh, another thing, she didn't try to over-vaccinate him with scary stories about what will happen if we don't get all the 'optional' shots. She asked us about his routine and explained all of our options then helped guide us to a decision. Her vaccination and exam prices are lower than we've found elsewhere and her staff reflects her love for animals. We called back a day or two later with a few questions and they remembered our dog and were very happy to answer our questions. We would definitely recommend Eastridge and Dr. Reese.

The whole staff is awesome! I have only been there for nail trims but with 3 different dogs. Personable service every time.Nice lobby. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for vet services. They rule!

I highly recommend Eastridge. Dr. Reese is real find - particularly with "difficult" pets. She takes plenty of time and tells you all the treatment options. She is particularly attentive after any sort of surgery or procedure. She has always called me later in the evening to check on my pet. The rest of the staff is great and I love all the doggie greeters!
