Adobe Animal Hospital is wonderful. I have been bringing my pets to this hospital since it opened fifty years ago. My dog Princess has been treated there since she was a puppy, over fourteen years ago. Dr. McKenzie and Dr. Jane Johnson have been treating her recently for a pesky infection. I just received word that her culture is clear! The doctors are excellent and very knowledgeable, as well as being personable and kind. The office staff and technicians are dedicated individuals and do a great job answering questions and assisting doctors. I would recommend this practice highly to any pets and ownbers in need of a good doctor.

I have been going to Adobe since 1998. I live in South San Jose and drive the 50 mile round trip because this truly is the best place there is to take your animal. For those who say they have so many doctors you never see the same one, just call and make an appt. with that one. For those you say the cost is too high, you get what you pay for. Anyone who complains about one staff being rude, does that really discount all the others who are amazing? I have willingly paid them thousands of dollars over the years for the top notch care and service they have given my dogs. A special shout out to Dr. Brian Maxwell and Keri Shandro for being the most loving and kind vets for my dogs and for my neurotic self! LOVE Adobe!

I see the same vet every time and he is great. He listens to me and he is takes great care of my cats. Plus my cats seem to like him. Also, the front desk staff is very helpful. When I had to take both cats by myself and could not find my boxes (we were moving) the desk staff came out to my car and helped me get them out and then get them back in after the visit. This place is on the pricey side but as they say, you get what you pay for.

I called in with a question and was very worried about my dog. Spoke with a vet tech who knew immediately what the problem was and calmed my fears. Didn't even have to bring him in.
