This great facility handles all my dogs needs. They provide me with prompt and courteous service, the moment you walk into their facility you are greeted with a friendly smile ! Dr Hill, Dr Sheifield & Dr Predmore are caring and compassionate towards my pets and also towards me. I am very particular with the care of my babies, but I know they receive excellent care at this facility. In October I went on vacation to Europe for 2 weeks and left my 2 Chihuahuas at the facility. I called numerous times at different times and each time the girls were very patient and sweet when I asked how my babies were doing. Had I not been able to leave them withmy friends at Animal Medical Center I would not have gone on my vacation. I highly recommend this facility for your pets medical needs !

On a Saturday morning my 14 y/o cat was very distended, would not eat or drink and was lethargic. I sought help from Merced Animal Medical Center at recommendation from a local vet office who saw my cat and determined that he needed hospitalization. They saw him immediately and were very attentative. They gave me an estimate of the total cost should he stay 2 nights. They went over in detail what they thought needed to be done to diagnose him and then treat. It turned out to be very bad news. Cancer with a belly full of fluid. He was very dehydrated and they gave him IV fluids. We discussed in detail what my options were should I want to proceed with treatment. Because of his age, I chose to forego treatment. My goal is to make his last days comfortable in his loving home. This place was awesome! While he was there for 24 hours the doctor called me at least 3 times to give me an update. I highly recommend this Center for pet treatment!

This is the only place opened 24 hours. I've had to take my dog there twice to emergency care. They are not as thorough as I would like them to be but for taking care of my dog at 10pm is better than nothing. The vets are not as nice as Dr. McFadden. She's really nice and is actually my primary Vet. Also this place is really close to where I live so...convenience is a huge factor too...

One of the assistants went in the middle of the night to check up on my kitty when she was nearing the end. They are very compassionate and sweet. My experiences have always been positive at AMC. Personally, I transferred my pets to Dr. Hill's office 5 years ago because I cannot stand the staff at Dr.. McFadden's. I know she's been on Oprah and has a sad story, but she's always been cold and unfriendly ever since I've met her the first day years ago. She refused to see me when I had a complaint about my dogs getting kennel cough and they refused to even pay for the office visit after I paid over $200. AMC reimbursed me an office visit after my kitty had to return for a check-up due to an infection. Every case is different, but that's my experience. They also have 24 hours emergency care, so it helps to have them know your pets. It wouldn't hurt to stop by and ask them questions and look at their facility. Good luck
