The Emergency veterinary Clinic on Prescott RD. is simply the best. There people ROCK! Caring and experienced staff is an understatement. Unfortunately we have had to use them 5 times in the past 2 or 3 years. However Every time has been the best experience for us. My cat and four dogs all ways seem to need attention on a weekend. I only wish they could be my full time vet.

I took my dog Bo in there after he was fallen on by my roomate,260 lbs.Dr.Karen Holmes took x-rays and found that my dog had a broken leg, the cost for this visit so far $281 then she put a splint on his leg, not a cast?? She said to give him twoTramadol (for pain) every 8-12 hours, and sent me home with me 38 Tramadol 50 mg,and a sheild to put on his neck so he could'nt rip off his splint. The total cost then was just over $500. She informed me to make an appointment with my Vet in 2 days to check on my dogs broken foot. I took my dog home he was still in much pain that was around 1:00 am on 11/26/2012 from that time on my dog would wake up crying out loud about every 30 min. that night 11/26/2012 my dog was trying to have a bowel movement around 7:00 pm? And was crying out for 3 or 4 min at a time,So I called the Clinic an asked Dr.Holmes what I should do,and what might be causing him this pain? She told me that his broken front leg was causing my dog this pain when he tried to poop and to just give him more pain pills! And told me to ask my Vet about this problem when I took my dog in for his update on his broken front foot?The morning of 11/27/2012 at 5:am my dog died.The whole time I was at the clinic with my dog not one thing was said,that my dog might die in a few hours? Being the good vet that she is suppost to be, she should of seen that my dog was in grave danger! It makes me wonder that she just did'nt tell me that my dog could die, so I would have to spend $500! If she would of told me that my dog could die in a few hours from his injuries,I would of put him to sleep, he was 13 years old, not a pup! How would you feel spending $500 when your dog was just going to die? I'am a Army vet trying to get disabillty, I have NO income at all!! Have you ever heard of a dog dying because of a broken front foot??

Highly recommended! Dr. Karen Holmes and Dr. Koch are extremely knowledgable, skillful, and sensitive. Many a night have I had to make the "emergency" trip to the veterinarian hospital. Jessica and others are quick to receive your pet and quick to get your pet into the emergency room; as I've said, highly recommended.

This so called lady is extremely mentally unstable and will be subject to her own libel suit. The basis of her claim is inaccurate, false, and full of lies, all of which can be documented. It is sad that there are people of this nature that are allowed to own pets. For the record, due to her unruly behavior and uncooperative nature, she was fired as a client after cursing at our staff.

These people treated me and my dying cat with so much tenderness and respect. I didn't know any of the woman who worked there and I will probably never meet them again but they consoled me like family while I said goodbye to my precious pet. They provided my cat with a mercy I could not and they provided me a peace that only very kind people can. If you love your animals like family and you find yourself in need of emergency help then I would sincerely recommend this hospital.
