This is a truly the best veterinary practice I have ever been to! Dr. Hoffman and his staff are top notch, not just in animal care, but in people skills. They have been exceptional at every turn in the lives of our pets. Dr. Hoffman is extremely compassionate about his work and is continuously furthering his knowledge threw seminars and lectures to insure the best up to date care for our pets. To me that is a huge plus as medical treatments are constantly changing. Dr. Hoffman and his staff are always willing to work with you regarding the best treatment for your pet. Whether you are looking for a conservative treatment or a more aggressive approach, they are behind you every step of the way. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for the best care of their pet or pets.

They also love their owners and they make sure to take care of both.I've been a client of Dr. Hoffman for 13 years and he always exceeds my expectations. This man cares for and about his patients so much that when we had to put my cat down after a battle with cancer he held me and cried with me. His knowledge and diagnostic skills are extraordinary and when he tells you how to treat your pet he makes sure you do what you are supposed to. You can trust Dr. Hoffman with your precious pets/family members and know he will always have their best interests at heart.Debbie Hoffman who runs the clinic is one of most kind loving people I have encountered and I will forever be grateful for both Dr. Hoffman and Debbie for the love, care, and dedication they showed both my pets and myself over the years.

I can’t even put into words how much I love this vet. Dr. Hoffman is amazing – he has tremendous compassion for animals. I have had him as a vet for my animals for over ten years. During that time I have never had any experience that was less than perfect with him and his staff. He looks out for my animals and I know I can trust him with my furry little ones. He is so sweet and patient with my animals, no matter how nervous or scared they are. You can tell he genuinely cares about each and every one of the animals that comes through the door. He also has tremendous patience with the owners, listening to all of my questions – which can sometimes be a lot!!! The staff is also amazing, they are so sweet, caring and helpful. Recently one of my cats had kidney failure – he was so caring and kind when giving me the results. He referred me to a hospital that has been amazing and without his referral, I am not sure my cat would be doing as well as she is. He also follows up with them directly as well as me, to see how she is progressing. When I went in to the vet a few days later, all of the staff were asking about my cat and how she was doing. They are all beyond amazing and I am so thankful I found them. My animals mean the world to me and I am thankful I found people that I can trust to take care of them and be there during the tough times.

A nightmare. I went to put my cat down and they showed no compassion for me -- they had me fill out a form and I was already in their computer, then they said they couldn't read it and made me fill out a SECOND FORM while my cat was yelping in pain. Did they care? No. Then, because I'd been up all night with my dying cat and was upset, I put down the wrong address because I'd just moved here within the last week. The vet was hostile and began examining my cat for no reason since she was dying, but if that's protocol okay but for HALF AN HOUR while I'm waiting to put her to sleep. The clinic is small, there wasn't even a chair for me to sit in in the operator. The vet kept trying to sell me on blood tests, etc and when I said I just wanted to put her to sleep he threw me out. I went to Moorpark Animal Hospital and received the OPPOSITE treatment...kind, caring, up to date facilities and a wonderful vet who gently discussed the procedure with me. Dr. Hoffman at Town Veterinary should have his license revoked...cruel, uncaring and in need of therapy. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but the guy had me crying in his little clinic that forces you to be surrounded by other patients adding to the uncomfortable, embarrassing feeling. AVOID THIS IDIOT AT ALL COSTS! PS. Moorpark Animal Hospital was even forty dollars cheaper!
