This is the fourth vet clinic I have visited in the Palo Alto / Los Altos area. My cat gets very nervous when going to the vet, so it is important that the clinic not be too noisy or bright, or smell strongly of chemicals. Dr. Lagerwerff's clinic is very clean and organized yet not too bright, and smells completely fresh. The front desk people are especially nice and Dr. Lagerwerff is gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. Of all the other vets I've seen in the area, he treated my cat most compassionately. I felt completely at ease in his presence, and my questions were answered very clearly. This is the clinic I've been looking for since I moved here!
