We've never had anything but great experiences here. Both Dr. Mo and Dr. Wang are fantastic vets, and I'm really glad we were referred to this hospital by the rescue organization we adopted our dog from. Dr. Wang in particular called to check up on our cat after he'd been seen for a urinary tract problem, and even gave me his personal phone number to call if any emergencies arose. That's excellent service!
My Dog Had Surgery up the Street at Rose City. They do not keep any animals overnight. My Poor Guy was in critical condition, so Rose City Helped move him to this ER Hospital. I was a wreck and They were VERY Kind. The Doctor on Duty was Dr Hussain. I ask if i could stay with my dog and he was kind enough to let me stay in a back room with him. I Held his Paw.through the night. This meant the world to me.!!!! Yes It was Expensive! but not any more so than any Emergency Vets I had been to in the Past. I cant tell you how much I appreciated them being sensitive to my needs My Dog did make it though . I really didnt care for Lugging my dog from One Hospital in the Day To Another in the Evening. In January I had an Emergency (daytime) So I gave The "AM" Vet Service located in the same place a Try. I REALLY Liked Dr Chan, and The daytime office Staff. Wonderful! My Dog had A foxtail way up his nose, and could not stop sneezing, he was very distressed. They got us in right away, I was hoping they would not have to shave any part of him as we were Showing at Westminster in 10 days! They Didnt laugh at my Request, were able to care of him, and we were home several hours later. Office Visit, Anestishia, Nasal Surgery and Meds, ..under $300. Very reasonable. The Dr took alot of time to answer all my questions, and The staff was very nice and gentle with my Craz ySneezingFit Dog!!! They called me at home to follow up., and sent me his records in the mail. JACKPOT!.. "AM" vet and An "ER "in the same place. Both Competent and NICE... This Is Huge, as I Show Dogs", as well as do" Cat Rescue" Finally..After 25 years, I have found a Vets Office , I am very satisfied with.!
My 13 pound dog ate 10 raisins and after googling "dog ate raisins" you start to become really freaked out about the outcome. A few places I called gave me the standard "Bring him in" line without asking specific questions and I wasnt satisfied with that answer because it wasn't very scientific. When I called Animal Emergency Clinic they did acknowledge that raisins are incredibly toxic for dogs but were honest in telling me that 10 raisins was perfectly harmless especially if the dog hasn't shown any symptoms of diarhea or vomiting. They saved me and my family about $300 tonight and for their honesty and ethics I am truly appreciative. These are honest people.
I'm a recent owner of a 2 year old Labrador Retriever and I have never owned pets before so you can imagine my horror when I found Simba making weird sounds in the middle of the night as if he was chocking. I rushed him here in sheer panic and the wonderful staff was extremely helpful and well equipped with the answers to my nonstop questions. Everything happened so quick after that and in not time Simba was lapping and woofing like nothing had happened! It was splendid! And even after that they took out time to explain to me what happened and how to avid it and not only that but gave me a few tips on general dog issues that I should look out for. I am very pleased with them and recommend them highly.
I came to this vet because my cat was throwing up and seemed to have a sinus infection. My cat had consent allergies and I knew that if she was having this much trouble breathing that she would need antibiotics. Unfortunately, I didn't discover that she was having so much trouble until I got home that night. When I brought my cat in I was accused of being a bad owner because I didn't take her in sooner and then when they laid out the balance they wanted to do numerous unnecessary tests. I have had many animals in my live time and I was pretty sure that my cat was suffering from. After I told them that there was no way I could afford a 1000$ vet bill they sent me out with antibiotics and a decongestant for the wonderful price of $250. When I went to my regular vet the following day she ran blood tests and told me that she had no idea why the emergency vet wanted to do what she did. AFter that experience I will be steering far away from there because they obviously only do what they do for money.
