Dr Shahi is a very good vet. His staff is also very nice and helpfull. He was taking great care of my husbands 15 year old German Shepard since he was a puppy. Now we have a 6 months old German Shepard and going to Rosemead Animal Hospital every time we need help. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This Doctor disclosed my personal information with the owner of a dog I found and took there looking to have an estimate for neutering. Two hours later I had the owner in a very confrontational attitude outside my house, this person scared my family and didn't even say "thanks for saving my dog". We went through a horrible situation just because this "DR" was so unprofessional to give my information to a stranger. We ended up having the police called. Besides that... His "low cost" neutering was $500. Pasadena Humane society charges $85 for this same service. This practice is a shame. I won't recommend you this place at all.

I have been taking my cats to Dr Shahi for over 5 years. Dr Shahi is one of the good vets, and I have been to good vets and bad vets. I'm glad that I have Dr. Shahi to take care of my cats. He and his staff are very gentle with the animals in sharp contrast to what I saw at other vets. Dr Shahi is well educated and keeps up with the latest treatments. I think his prices are moderate. He charges a fair price for excellent care. And his prices are much lower that the other vets I have been to. I will continue to take my cats to Dr Shahi and I am thankful for the honest professional service that he provides. Please note that I am an actual client of this doctor, not just a hit-and-run reviewer.

i will admit that they are very accommodating because I was running on a tight schedule. But I took my dog here for kennel cough and after doing the eye dye test to make sure she did not have a scratched cornea he gave her 2 shots and 2 meds to take home. Total cost $164.00 I'm not sure if one of the shots he ave her was necessary and he used the eye ointment I was supposed to take home on her. I also found the other oral medication opened already too... not sure if they had to do some mixture but it was 1/2 of what the bottle was.... If you ask me it's a shady place. everything was handwritten from the bill to the directions on the medication... would not recommend I usually go to the VCA on mission & 1st st.
