I decided once I moved here and adopted my cat from my boyfriends parents that with the flea problem here he should go see a vet to get the kind of flea medication that is needed in a place like San Diego. So early one morning my boyfriend took him in for his appointment that I had scheduled. He said they were great with Jack and also commented on what a beautiful cat he was especially for his age. They also were not pushy at all about getting extra tests or other things done at the time. They just assessed his need for the medication and prescribed what was needed and it was a very smooth and painless visit for both Jack and us. Soon I plan on taking Jack back here for another real check up and some other maintenance procedures since he is a senior cat and I feel more than confident that Sunset Cliffs Animal Hospital will be the best place around to take him!

We've been with Dr. A. Behrman for over two years and we love her. Her genuine care and knowledge is outstanding.

I've only experienced other pet owner/lovers' experience with SCAH, and was referred to take my new cat by both my friends that have their pets there as patients, and also Josh Harris, my neighbor. Josh's referral alone, would do it for me, as I've experienced how well he takes care of his 2 dogs, and his passion for his role as a team member there. I will update this review, after 'we' (the cat and I) become clients ourselves. I will be bringing him in for chipping, and shots. I hadn't planned on owning a cat, but I was "adopted" by him, 2 weeks ago, and after much searching for his original owners, no one claimed him, and, after staying with me, it's been apparent, he doesn't want to be claimed.

i have been going there for a couple years now and every time it has been awesome. the staff is very helpful and some of the sweetest people are workers there. they are very attentive to my dogs needs and reasonably priced too!

So happy with this place! They always make my english bulldog feel special. Never known another place to greet the pets with so much kindness. Dr. Berg is one of a kind. She did elongated soft palatte surgery on our boy and he spent the night at her own home. That shows how much she really cares about pets. Definetly feel like we are in great hands with this vet!
