Rancho has been our vet for over 10 years. We have taken several dogs, cats and even our rabbit there. They offer great service and have been wonderful when we had to (sadly) put animals down. I would highly recommend them.
I have always had very good experiences at Rancho Sequoia Vet Hospital. I am treated with a friendly manner from everyone there and my pets seem to like it too. The facility is clean with up to date technology.
I started taking my rescue dog, Bella, to Dr. Kang at Rancho Sequoia a little over a year ago after a friend who takes his pups to Dr. Kang spoke highly of him. I drive quite a bit out of my way to see Dr. Kang because he's taken very good care of Bella since she's been his patient. When she was first rescued from the shelter, she had a nasty open wound in her ear that two other Vets were not able to get healed properly. Dr. Kang suggested a procedure that ended up working beautifully. Bella's ear is all healed and hasn't been an issue since. Dr. Kang and his staff are kind, efficient, helpful and good at what they do. Dr. Kang is able to explain any illness or injury and it's corresponding treatment very well and is very patient when answering any questions I have. The staff have been working on updating their offices, which are extremely clean and pleasant (not always the case with veterinary hospitals). The prices are fair and I've never felt pressured into needless procedures or medications. I recommend you give them a try!
Rancho Sequoia has taken good care of my animals. The Doctor is polite and good with the animals and seems as though he cares.
WORST VET EVER SINCE DR. KANG TOOK OVER!!! Dr. Kang upsold us on a surgery for my dog that wasn't needed then didn't perform the surgery that we were upsold. The only way we found out about this is when we took her to another vet to clean up his mess and the new vet said that the gland that was suppose to be removed was in fact still there. Dr. Kang also blamed us in his notes for wanting the stitches out early which led to the wound being left open. Kind of shocking that we are not doctors but it was us making medical decisions on when stitches are suppose to be removed...I thought that was what a doctor was for. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the CA Vet board so that no one else has to go though this.
