People reading this, READ THE REVIEWS IN DETAIL OF THIS VET OFFICE. Called today, on a Saturday looking to have my dog's eye looked at, because my regular vet is not open weekends. Interestingly, I read the reviews, only "after" I made the call. Lucky for me, the woman that answered the phone was short, and didn't want to take anymore appointments. Then, I read the reviews! Reviews in this forum range from DEAD PUPPIES when the doctor refused to perform a C Section on a whelping female bulldog, to a positively grotesque misdiagnosis, of being told that a dog was dying, when it had simply over eaten!

Last weekend, I brought my bloodhound in on a Sunday. I was afraid I would have to put him down. He was listless, not eating, and could barely walk. The night before he had suddenly become very sick, threw up, and his pee was bloody. We saw Dr Teddy. They ran some tests. Of course, it's expensive - it's emergency vet. They let me choose what test to do or not do and I knew upfront what the cost would be. Even regular vets seem to do this now. It's just the way vet biz is now. They have to "cya" by offering. In the end, my dog had a bad Urinary tract infection. He was given a prescription and some pain pills. I have to follow up with the regular vet to see what else is going on. By the next day, he was doing better. One week later, I am amazed at how well he is. THANK YOU EPC!! You saved my dog. I would use Dr Teddy if she was a regular vet.

I brought my dying 2 year old Labrador in. He was vomiting and in & out of consciousness. We showed up sunday night about 10:30. Due to budget issues I could not pay for service tell that Wed. when I got paid. The receptionist told me I could post date a check 3 days...which would land on Tuesday....I assured her I would wait tell midnight (1.5 hours away) so I could fall into the new day..thus allowing my postdated check to be cashed on wed. She then told me to bring my dog back at 8 AM the following day because she did not want to except my check at midnight????? They would not see him that night even though they are 24 hours!!!! We left and found another/better 24 hour vet. My lab had ate some rocks and was going to die. The new vet performed emergency surgery and was able to save his life by a hair. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!

HORRIBLE. My little bulldog girl went into labor early. Went here in hopes of having a C-section. She had been in labor for over an hour and wasn't passing any puppies. The vet checked her out and probed her. Said she felt a head and minuscule movement during one of her MANY contractions. Told me that the C-section (which is the common form of birthing for bullies) was and ELECTIVE surgery?!?!?! She wanted her to try on her own, she's had a puppy stuck in her last litter and didn't seem to care about that. Didn't seem to care about the puppy that had been in the canal for an hour either. I will NEVER go here again!! Only thing on their side that was positive was the price ($10 cheaper than their competitors). Because of this PLACE, my dog's life has been put in jeopardy and I now have dead puppies. THANKS FOR KILLING MY PUPPIES!!!!

Awesome staff, and I love the fact that you guys are open late! But, after seeing you on thursday with my little Zoe, you guys quoted me around $1200-$1400 for a simple surgery and antibiotics. And just after the initial visit, I was charged &70 just for you to look at her (NO antibiotics or anything else). I understand it's emergency only, but that was a little over-priced if you ask me. A few days later, I came into the Fallbrook Veterinary Clinic and they helped me out with the surgery, AND before and after care...for around $500. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless it's a COMPLETE EMERGENCY, because it's gonna be pricey!
