I've been wanting to write a review for these guys for quite some time because I'd like to tell everyone how absolutely amazing Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital is. A few months ago, my cat suddenly became very picky about her food and was hardly eating. I brought her in to see Dr. Kelly, and she recommended doing some blood work. The results were really terrible; My cat's liver values were dangerously elevated and she ended up having to stay with them so they could figure out what was wrong. I've had my cat since she was a baby, and when I lost my composure and started crying in the exam room when I was told my cat would need to stay there, Dr. Kelly was incredibly comforting and compassionate. My cat ended up staying for a few days because her liver started to fail. She was on so many medications and I was terrified because I really thought I was going to lose her. She was under the care of Dr. Kelly and Dr. Dorman, who were both absolutely fantastic. Over the few days my cat stayed there, everyone treated me with such kindness and compassion. They always kept me updated and were even considerate enough to allow me to sit in an empty exam room every time I came to visit, instead of having to stand outside of her cage. When my cat was healthy enough to come home, she was still on a lot of medications. When I called to ask questions, everyone I spoke to was so understanding and patient with me and never once made me feel like all of my questions were annoying. My cat has had a few health problems before (she's a rescue and was very sick when I got her) so I had been to quite a few vets before I finally found Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital. None of them even came close to how amazing this place is and I'm happy to say that I will never go anywhere else. You can tell that everyone here really loves animals and I have experienced so much kindness and compassion every time I've taken my cat here. My cat made a quick recovery and she's back to her happy, playful self. I genuinely believe that without Dr. Kelly, Dr. Dorman, and the rest of the incredible staff at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital, my cat wouldn't still be here and for that, I am eternally grateful.
