ACCESS is by far the BEST vet in this city. If it wasn't for them my kitten could have died. Even if it is not an emergency we still take our kitten here. We took my kitty to a vet because he had a cold. They gave him a shot saying it will help... but it made him way worse. So we took him to ACCESS they told us that the "shot" they gave him is something vets give when they don't know what is wrong. But we ended up going with ACCESS. they gave him a shot, meds for home, etc... By the next day he was PERFECT. Sooo thankful for these amazing people. Also, they are great to call and ask questions. always helpful and caring and polite (:

Second to none. Caring vets and staff. Don't try to rip you off. Always give options in treatment. They have been around for ever and I hope they continue! My pets love you guys, and thank you for being there in an emergency. A++ vet care.

My 11 year-old dog had severe back pain one evening and couldn't walk. I took her to Animal Emergency Care Center and the young female vet was pleasant enough and gave her some meds that alleviated the pain but told me it was difficult to diagnose back problems without doing x-rays. I told her I wasn't sure about spending the money at that point and would rather wait to see if she could walk after a few days. She bluntly said, "Oh, she won't walk again" and walked out the door without any explanation. I was speechless. A few days later when her walking didn't improve I took her back and got the x-rays. It was a waste since the vet told me she couldn't tell anything from the x-rays. Luckily a friend told me about an animal care center in Calabasas with an underwater treadmill. It worked wonders for my dog and she was walking better after the first treatment. I went back for one more session and she took off after that. She is still a little weak but is walking about at 95% of what she used to. The vet assistants at the Animal Emergency Care Center were very friendly and caring but the vet I saw left a bad impression of someone who was more interested in having patients say "yes" to any procedures recommended regardless of cost rather than effectively communicating all options with pet owners.

Treated my pet like a king. Fixed up his dog bite wounds. Fees were very reasonable and my regular vet said they did a great job. Highly recommend them if you have a pet emergency.
