In September 2013 I took my dog, the love of my life, to a vet in Studio City who abruptly told me I should put my dog to sleep because of his kidneys. Then they handed me a bill for thousands of dollars to keep him a live with no prognosis. I thought we were going in for a routine checkup. Long Story Short, I called a friend who told me about the vet who saved her dog's life -- Janet Meyerhoff. I called Friday night and was taken in the next day. Dr. Meyerhoff immediately recognized that the previous vet did not do all the right tests to properly diagnose my dog, and that his tools and tests and treatments were old news. She knew right away that he was suffering from a neurological disease which was causing the kidney failure. It' almost six months later and my dog is doing great thanks to the expert care of Dr. Meyerhoff and her very friendly team -- Paula, Kim, and Elizabeth.
