New to the area and looking for a vet of my own, my mother invited me to accompany her to my older brother's dog, Fat Boy, appointment to Coal Creek with her. I am so pleased with the service we received. Every employee we met was overly polite and enthusiastic about what was best not only for my mothers wallet but also for Fat Boy's well being and proper care. I felt she received affordable and immaculate care. The doctor was confident and I felt like the pets were in good and well educated hands. Nothing but praise goes my way to this wonderful veterinary hospital.

The staff was very friendly and greeted us warmly when we first walked in. I loved that they had a welcomed chalk board with my dogs name on it. Dr. Walker and her tech got down on their knees, face to face with my dog and talked sweetly to her while doing a check up. They showed love and concern for her and where very thorough and knowledgeable. I look forward to bringing our other pets and would recommend Coal Creek Veterinary Hospital to all.

We have been coming to Coal Creek Veterinary Hospital for the past 12 years. As the doctors and staff have changed during these years, we have continued to receive great care and service. They are kind, caring and compassionate; listening to all our concerns, providing education as well as care guidance as my pet has aged. The Well-Ness/health care programs are great and affordable, making sure to care for all your pet needs. Each time we arrive, we are greeted by name...how cool is that!

We just recently moved from Denver back to Aurora and I really did not want to take my dogs to a different vet office as I really loved ours in Denver. I lived around the area before and had taken my mom's dogs to vets' offices around there and hated them, but the Denver one was just too far of a drive. I did my research and Coal Creek was the only one around us that even really had reviews - and they were all great. The office is a little bit further of a drive for us but when we got there, it was great! The staff is so friendly and seem like they actually care about your pets. Our dogs' names were even on the welcome board! I really like this office and am glad I found it!

Not sure what the deal is concerning the Wellness Plan automatic payments....but they are having a lot of issues with running their business or either they do not know how to operate it. For some reason my automatic payments do not work and the owner had the audacity to blame me for why the transactions will not go through and claims it's my responsibility. I have plenty of funds in my account with no issues, and I even contacted my local branch about any transactions that are blocked and the branch manager does not see any pending issues. Also I have heard of other friends and family members having the same issue concerning this, so this is not an isolated incident.I would like to let everyone know that if your experiencing this, it's not your fault it's their issue to resolve. While we are on the subject of disliking this place: I will discuss my cousin's bad experience. Her cat had a swollen leg just before Thanksgiving and asked them to look at his leg and find out what the issue was. They recommended an x-ray and found no fractures or broken bones, but did not find out what was wrong and told her to come back another time since they were in a hurry to leave work that day. After the holiday she brought him back since his leg was getting worse, and they wanted to charge her again to be seen even though she already paid for it when they could not figure out the issue her cat was having from the x-ray in the first place. For her second attempt to have the vet look at the swollen leg they finally shaved it and there were teeth marks causing the infection....but I feel she doesn't need to be charged twice for the same issue. I wanted to provide awareness to those who are having the same experience and if you are new, hopefully this will help you know what to expect. And if you are from Coal Creek Vet, I hope you read this as for some advice.
