I have owned dogs since I was a little girl. I am now in that 40 to 50 range and can honestly say Dr. Mooney is the best vet I have ever found. Sometimes you find a great vet that knows a lot about the animals they are treating or you find a great vet that really shows they care but you never really feel confident in their ability. Dr. Mooney is caring and it shows. She knows what she is talking about, and if she doesn't she won't guess, she will tell you, and refer to her colleagues for answers, do research or send you to someone she feels that can help you. Dr. Mooney has seen our family through so much with our animals, a beagle we had to put down due to the increasing severity of diabetes, a lab that had gotten aggressive because of chronic pain and had to be put down. Now two dogs have been added to our family along with 3 very feral barn cats and we wouldn't think about going anywhere else for their care. If we could get her to take on our horses we would be taking them to her too.....
