If you are having a medical issue with a pet, this is the place to go! The expertise and care offered by the team at VRCC is truly outstanding. They were able to quickly diagnosis my dog’s Addison’s disease several years ago then prescribed efficient (cost effective and successful) treatment, and most recently, a foot infection that was improperly diagnoses as a knee injury by a different animal hospital just one day earlier. I won’t make the same mistake by going somewhere else out of convenience. Their ability to provide a quick and accurate diagnosis (on both occasions) and a team that will work with you, and your budget, for efficient treatment has been very much appreciated. If at all possible, go elsewhere! I can't believe people can rate this place so high. They are money hungry and use your dog as collateral. They will not let you go in the back with your dog so they can use them to collect payment later. In fact, they stick the pet back there and don't do anything with them until you agree to their ridiculous fees. The staff is highly trained to maximize profits with a lack of regard for their own integrity or a genuine concern for the well being of your pet.

About twenty years ago (before google and google plus was even a real thing) I took my cat here when we had to suddenly put him down. The staff was so sympathetic and understanding and explored all options before we decided it was the best thing for my cat. When my dog had a neurological melt down about five years ago, I came back. The staff was completely different but one thing was the same, they genuinely cared about what was happening to my friend. Again, they explored all options as it turns out it was another bad situation for my poor dog. About a month ago my hound was sick and acting odd, I went there again (sort of afraid to because, my record of returning home with an animal after going to this vet was 2-0, nothing to do with their service, it was just the way things happened) but they were still super helpful talk to me in English not veterinarian. Now I'm glad to say, my hound is in perfect health thanks to them.

Great job. My jack Russell had a gaping wound from a dog fight . Instead of sutures and anesthesia the vet was able to simply clean it and staple it up. $200 instead of $600 I was impressed with the professionalism The vet took the time to ask me about the behavior that caused the incident and offered advice. She was really knowledgable about the breed since she owned one herself. Would definitely go back.

These people are the best. From the emergency dept to Dr. Orr in the heart area. They loved my dog, took excellent care of him. Helped me.. Hamlet was in good hands from the front desk to the whole back area. Do you know they have one tech for every 4 animals??? Who would have heard of that. I am so grateful to them all. My hugs to them - I am sure I will be using them again.
