We've been clients for years and have always received the highest quality of care for our dog. Today I took our ailing gecko in for an appointment, and I'm impressed with both the level of knowledge that Dr. Benscheidt has and how he asked about both kids, and included supplemental literature in for the dog. Highly recommend this practice.

Love this place! Dr. Wilson has been great with our 2 dogs. Very good bedside manner, and cares very much about the dogs. When our dogs have been sick she calls and checks on them and to see if I have any questions. I also can just call and talk to her when I have questions and sometimes she can recommend things over the phone instead of making me coming up for something small. I never feel rushed. Although because people aren't rushed, if you have an appointment later in the day they will be behind schedule by 20 min.. the reception is nice too.

Mixed results here, generally speaking their "normal hours" service has been quite satisfactory. I got a quote for a ID chip and neuter and the prices were significantly higher than other quotes I'd gotten. They quoted $38 to $65 for the chip vs. $35 elsewhere (rather large $ range...), and $400 to $450 for the neuter compared to $150 or so elsewhere. They are very kind and caring though, no complaints there. After hours care was spotty, 30 second phone call where we discussed doing a stool sample, the end result was a $81 bill with another test and several meds with no explanation to why. Over-caution is good, but the bill was larger than expected for what wasn't that serious of a concern. I'm looking around for a new vet right now, not certain we'll relocate, but we haven't been terribly happy here.

I received excellent care from the Vets at Nelson Clinic. Dr. Melissa Wagner is very caring and emphatatic to your pets needs. I never felt rushed during an appt. She took her time and answered all my questions-she even took time to call me with lab results and explain them to me. I also met with Dr. Steven .. also was very knowledgeable and again took the time to explain things to me. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for quality and caring veterinarians for their pets.

We have been going to Nelson Road Vet clinic for our four dogs ever since we moved back to Longmont. Dr Wagner has been the primary vet and our fur kids love her!! This clinic is soo great to us and I highly recommend them. Marian Boll
