The facility is absolutely beautiful and the staff is extremely competent. There is a clear rapport between Dr. Hartwig, her patients, and her human clients.

The main difference between this practice and every other one I've been to in Boulder County is that Dr. Hartwig really cares about the pets she treats and their human owners. She takes the time to try and figure out what is wrong with an animal before she suggests a course of action, and she does her best to communicate with the animal to put it at ease. My cat has gone ballistic when treated by other vets, but she actually purrs when Dr. Hartwig treats her. Dr. Hartwig has also helped me immensely with my rescue dog, who came to me with epilepsy, arthritis and other neurological issues. There is no question in my mind that my dog's health has been improved by Dr. Hartwig's dedicated approach to her care.

They're really responsive and pay attention to even the smallest details and will go out of their way to put the animals at ease. They even put carpet on the metal tables to make the pets as comfortable as possible for shots. My toy poodle wasn't even able to walk up a set of stairs before doing acupuncture treatments here, and now he's fine.

It's very obvious that the staff here loves pets. They love my dogs, and are very confident in their abilities. Dr. Hartwig is amazing with them, very careful, and goes above an beyond to ensure the patients comfort.

When we moved to Longmont we were looking for a new vet close by. We tried Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital too and liked it so much that we stayed here! The whole staff here is so caring and friendly. I feel so comfortable taking both my dog and cat here. Thank you so much for all that you do!
