I love this place, and the cat that's on there web site pic , is the one I gave them for adoption , her name was bridget.
My animals have been clients at this office for 20+ years and honestly I was always happy, untill they changed over to VCA!!! I recently brought my 6 year old chihuahua to the office because he was sick. The doctor took some blood work and told me my dog has lyme diease, we started him on a pain killer and antibiotics. He felt better soon after. I was told my dog will need to stay on these antibiotics for the rest of his life. That doctor visit cost me over $300... I called them today(4 months later) to let the doctor know that my baby is not feeling to good, thinking they would tell me to come get more antibiotics, NOOOOOO, they want to see him again. The visit alone is $62 then more blood work at $150 then the price of the meds ect... Here we go another $300 bill. I am a single female with no kids, I work but my money is tied up in bills and im hardly making it, I love animals and work with them for a living, my dogs are my children. When I explaned to them what my situation was, and letting them know I could afford his script but not another vet bill, they told me "maybe you should put him down then" My blood boiled. I make sure that dog has his shots, and vet care when needed, I would starve before I let him go without food. I would do anything for my dogs, and for them to be so un-caring was really hurtful. I have faithfully used this vet for 20 years. So I just want to let everyone know Dr. Stone and Dr. Vandestadt do not care about the well being of your animal they ONLY care about how much cash you have in your wallet. So after 20 years I am on a search for a new veterinarion and I am going to make sure that person loves and cares for my dogs (my children) the way that I do.
I won't say it was cheap. But twice, our dog was about to die, and both times, between them and the recommended hospital, she was saved. Honestly, I can care less, how much it costs. If they can bring back our dog like they did not once, but twice. They are truly great.
