Mary was a blessing to us. She made saying goodbye to our beloved Peepers so much less traumatic than a typical visit to the vet would have been . I was able to hold Peeper's in my lap (her favorite place to be) while she passed, surrounded by her family who loved her. Mary allowed us all the time we needed to get ready. She patiently answered all the questions my 11 year old son had about the process, so he knew Peepers wouldn't be in any pain. She also assured my husband that it was the right thing to do as animals can't tell us when they are hurting and rely on us to alleviate their pain and suffering. She took Peepers with her and with her remains in a beautiful wooden box that we were able to put her picture in. I would give her 1,000 stars if I could.

As devastating as this time can be, we felt so good about having the vet come to our home, in Honey's favorite room, as a final goodbye. It was not only peaceful, but we felt assured that we were doing the right thing by using a vet and a compassionate person to help us in her final journey.
