My dog got bit by a cotton mouth snake so I originally took him to the old val-u-vet on nova road which is now called Newmans vet. They tried charging me about $2800-$3000 for 2 shots of anti venom. We knew this was a rip off so we called around and found out that driftwood only charged $500 for 1 shot which was all we thought we would have needed. Come to find out, the very experienced vets at driftwood told us our dog would be just fine without it and gave us some antibiotics for him and only charged us $55 for the whole visit. I couldn't be any happier with my experience, I saved a lot of money and my dog is back to happy and healthy. Thank you very much to the staff and the doctors for all the help and the great experience. - ♡The Fortier family

I was a new customer going there to get my dogs hind leg looked at. I had an appointment for 11:15am. I signed in and waited over an hour to be seen. The girl at the front desk skipped over me bringing others back. It was then closing time and she did apologize but everyone saw me sitting there with my dog. I finally went back and was rushed through the visit. Bad experience I would not recommend this place what so ever.

I've had a few good experience here. The wellness exams were fine for both my cat and dog. Their prices are decent but when I brought my sick dog in here the other day they didn't seem as great. My dog woke up the other day completely blind. I brought her in and they gave her a look over, checked in her eyes and dropped a cotton ball in front of her face to determine her vision was impaired. All in all they told me they didnt have the machine to check her for glaucoma and that i'd have to be referred. They didn't seem that concerned that she couldnt see and weren't super knowledgeable about what could be going on with her. I on the other hand was pretty upset. Had this dog for over 8 years and its a pretty big deal when a dog can't see one day. They didn't give her any medicine, no eye drops nothing. One eye is completely bloodshot and the other was slightly bulging and they just sent me on my merry way. Oh and of course I had to pay an exam fee for them to look at her, drop a cotton ball in front of her and tell me I need to go somewhere else. Not very happy and not very professional in my opinion. They could have at least acted more concerned and talked to me more about what could be going on. Ideas to help her feel better, anything. Finding a new vet after this. It is unfortunate.

I am very upset with the staff here. I took my cat in for a blood test and found out he had leukemia. When I found this out, I was in complete shock and very upset. I thanked the dr and told her I had to hang up and would keep in touch. The next day, I was calmed down and not as upset so i called to hear about his results and had questions about the disease. I was told to come pick something up to help my understanding of his disease, when I went there they gave me a google print out explaining what the disease was. I called back later on because I wanted to know how bad it was and how long he has had it, i was told she would call me back and I have yet to hear from them. I spent about 300 and for them to not have the decency to return my call is unbelievable! I am very upset, not only is that a lot of money but my poor kitty is sick and these people are not interested in helping nor speaking to me after the got my money. I had to see a different vet just to get my questions answered! Its disgusting that people like this are working with animals!
