VERY Happy with the care of my Pekingese Angel before, during, and after his dental cleaning. For a little over $300 total (no hidden costs) -- Angel was THOROUGHLY examined including a node under his front left shoulder area, and then went through the cleaning process. What I think of when I think of my experience is here is no fuss, no hidden costs, no sales pitches, just care for the pet AND your budget. Unlike corporate run vet "care", the focus was on providing Angel services needed while not attempting to bankrupt me. In that $300 or so, the anesthesia, cleaning, anti-biotic, and pain medications were administered. Office visit was also included. Most importantly to me, I did not have to make TWO separate trips for ONE outcome!. I appreciate so much the professional, efficient, cost conscious communication allowing me choices on blood work, dental extraction or not, etc .. I was kindly advised that since I didn't opt for bloodwork or possibly even the extractions, I the dental cleaning could STILL go on -- unlike the corporate run veterinarian places I researched. In short, I was given power to choose my pet's amount of care based upon my income. My dog's health was NOT held hostage as a tool to wring more money out of me. One of the least stress free dental cleaning procedures I've incurred. I've shopped for over three months for the right dental cleaning place -- for my budget and also Angel's care -- and I'm pleased to say I found it! I may also add as a side note, that the clinic offers an online "Pet Portal" for communication with the office, including pet aftercare, records, and appointment setting options. VERY impressed with that -- first time I've been offered this service. I unreservedly recommend this clinic to an of owners/clients in the Daytona or surrounding areas to drive the extra miles to Debary for a great experience for self & pets including exotic birds & small animals.

They will MILK your pocket, sell you a load of stuff you don't need at inflated costs! I found a really good place in Altamonte, reasonable price and great service. It is worth the drive!!!! Dr. Sheffield has an instinct for our pets and their needs, it goes beyond medicine. I have used his services for many years and find that he and his staff are exceptionally accommodating and pleasant. When problems or issues arise with either of our dogs, a quick phone call to his office and we are on our way to getting solutions and having certainty in our decision-making process. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sheffield and his practice. Another vet botched our cat's surgery and not only did Dr. Sheffield take us in as an emergency immediately (even though we had never been there before), but he fixed him up perfectly and made sure his surgery healed correctly. Wonderful staff and we're grateful to have found him!

He should have been a lawyer or used car sales man. He has no compassion and he is a crook! Save your time and your money. Keep your animals safe by keeping them away from this office!
