Our family has been taking our pets to DeLand Animal Hospital for as long as I can remember. The professionals there are kind, compassionate and very reliable. Our dog is scared during any office visit (grooming or health care) but they take the time to calm her down. Kudos to Dr. MacPhail and Dr. Ulbrich!

Voted the WORST VETERINARIANS IN VOLUSIA by those in the know. Sad, even one of the owners wrote up a 5 star review for their place. Their kids run around the hospital acting like hooligans, they are unprofessional because they talk about other vets in town. When I took my cat in I couldn't believe it. Over $350 later, a dying cat, and people who didn't really care. Stay away. Try anyone else in the county but not them.

I have a vet that is two blocks from where I live yet I choose to drive one hour to go here. They take excellent care of my Dachshund and give very helpful advise. I find their rates very resonable. I explained I am retired and on a very limited income and they helped me work with in my limits yet still getting the needed help for my doggy. Side note to the person who wrote " they have people that barely speck English" they all "speak" english perfectly.

We went to Deland Animal Hospital for a second opinion on our sick Rhodesian Ridgeback and we are so glad we did! They immediately knew what was wrong and were able to alleviate his pain with the proper medications! After searching for the correct diagnosis (we saw 3 vets in the area) we finally have peace. We recommend this hospital to anyone who wants real answers!

I do not recommend them because they do not have a clue about what they are doing, we took a rescued puppy to be seen under urgent care, which they were very aware of the near possible death of this puppy. They took the dog in back and would not let us see it, and asked how much money were we willing to spend to save its life….and it would cost up to $1000.00, if it was possible. They still billed us wrong for just checking the vitals and giving it dextrose. A fire fighter of Deland brought the puppy in and they basically said they were willing to put it to sleep if it did not get better, not even willing to give it a chance. Now the puppy is dead.
