FloridaWild is a wonderful place where the staff really care about your animals. My animals love going there and I always feel welcomed when I am there. It is kind of like walking into Cheers. The after hours number is a huge benefit and the fact that they also use holistic medicine and think outside the box is great too.

Out of all my vet visits in the past I have NEVER had a more amazing experience than I have had at FloridaWild!!! The staff is the kindest most compassionate staff - the commitment and love they have for these animals is obvious! I am currently fostering a sweet 3-yr-old chihuahua named Chandler. After being found as a stray, he was admitted into a high-kill shelter as a "paraplegic dog" without use of his hind legs. After pulling him from the shelter, and falling in love with his personality and determined little spirit, I took him to an emergency clinic in which the vet said he would never regain use of his legs and "highly suggested humane euthanasia" - the exact thing we saved him from! PLEASE, before accepting such advice, seek a second opinion as I did with Dr. Mason!!! Dr. Mason was THRILLED to see Chandler and completely disagreed that he wouldn't be able to walk again! He has only been to 2 therapy appointments with her and he is already gaining so much movement in his back legs it is truly incredible to see! We are so excited at the thought of him walking again & living the fullest life ever! We could NOT have done it without her! I will NEVER go to another vet other than FloridaWild again!

Our experience with FloridaWild has been nothing short of amazing! Everyone has treated our little Skoshi with the utmost love and care. To see our little girl take baby steps with her new wheels is something we could only dream of...now it's a reality. Thank you Dr. Mason and team!!!

There are only positives to share about FloridaWild Veterinary Hospital. All the staff members are passionate about what they do. My dogs have been coming here for years now and each service has been performed with excellence. The environment is so unique and well kept. When you are there, you don't feel rushed. Both Dr. Holder and Dr. Mason take the time to really get to understand the circumstances of your visit. I appreciate that and the quality treatments that are provided with each visit.

Once you visit this facility with your pet, just once, you will realize that you have found a truly exceptional multi disciplined wellness center unlike any other you have been to before. I have owned dogs, cats and exotic birds throughout my life and always attempted to find the best credentialed, state of the art clinic, in whatever state I was residing. After leaving New York, we came to Deland with our 10 year old cat, Athena. She was terrible with travelling so I wanted to see if there was a vet who did housecalls. I also wanted to start her with a highly certified vet (Dr. Holder holds her degree from University of Florida) I found Florida Wild after much research and Dr. Holder had mobile exams available. That was in 2007, Athena has been in Florida Wild's care ever since. Our cat came down with diabetes 3 years ago and due to the great followup care by Dr. Holder and Dr. Mason of Florida Wild, she is now in full remission. I have recommended Florida Wild to several other pet owners who have also become loyal clients due to their experiences at the clinic. If you bring your pet to this place you will never want to bring your pet child anywhere else. Our cat is 16 and now we take her TO the vets at Florida Wild and she really does not mind. In the future, all of our pets will only receive care from Florida Wild which I think is the best in Volusia County by far.
