Growing up on farms in Ohio, I have a lot of experience dealing with veterinarians. Southland Animal Hospital is possibly the best small animal veterinarian we have ever been to. Dr. Toledo and staff are all very knowledgeable, as you would expect. But it is their attitude that truly makes them stand out. You are greeted when you walk in with a smile. Phone calls and questions are returned the same day! And I'm sorry if this offends anyone, they all speak clear English. This is a huge deal for those of us who didn't grow up in South Florida, especially when it comes down to medical care for our pets. Prices are very, very affordable and they don't nickel and dime you to death for things like cotton balls, Q-Tips and other small consumables. As long as we are living in South Florida, Southland is the only veterinary care provider that we will use.
