Tina and her staff have treated six of my cats and seven of my dogs in a 20 years span. She has always been the most caring and professional vet that I have dealt with....When a problem was out of her scope she would make referrals without hesitation. She would call you to inform you laboratories results and would let you come and visit a hospitalized patient. I wish she would treat my horses too! She has cried with me when I had lost one of my furry beloved pet and all the staff is lovely and helpful. I highly recommend Animal Clinic of Lady Lake.
I drove 60 minutes to come here to fill a prescription, after calling them to make sure I had the necessary paperwork, they refused to honor another licensed vets prescription. The claim being federal law prohibits them from doing so, it doesn't, even if it where true they could have told Me on the phone. not usefull.
Tina and her staff are very thorough when they examine your pet. They aren't in a rush to get you in and out as fast as possible. They take time to fully examine your furry friend. I had a different vet and just couldn't understand why they seldom put their hands on my pets, why they wanted to hurry through the exam and not really address my questions and concerns. Not so At the Animal Clinic of Lady lake. They listen to your concerns, explain things so you can understand and give their full attention to your pet and to your concerns. They are very caring and it shows.
nice people but i was not satisfied with them my dog became very sick throwing up and had diaharia so i took him there to try and find out what the problem was, and she did an exam on him and said that she may have felt something that was not normal in his stomach, but she did not stress on that to much as if it was probably nothing to worry about or as if she was not sure and said that he probably just ate something that upset his stomach and sent us home to wait and see if he improved, but he did not in fact he got worse, so a week later i called them back to make an appointment to get his stomach x rayed because i had a gut feeling something more serious was wrong with his stomach to LET ME JUST SAY WHICH THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT THAT IAM TRYING TO GET ACROSS SHE SHOULD HAVE OFFERED TO DO THE XRAY WHEN SHE EVEN THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT SOMETHING WASNT RIGHT BUT I DIDNT THINK ANYTHING OF IT BECAUSE SHE ACTED LIKE IT WASNT ANYTHING SERIOUS AND SHE BASICALLY MIS DIAGNOSED MY DOG BY SAYING HE JUST HAD AN UPSET STOMACH. So i had the xray done on my own gut feeling not by her suggesting that it should be done and she found out that he ate something and it got stuck in his digestive track and he would need surgery and since we waited so long to find this out most of his digestive tract had died and i sadly had to PUT HIM TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF HER WRONG DIAGNOSIS IF I HAD THE XRAY DONE THE FIRST DAY I WENT TO HER AND FOUND OUT THE REAL PROBLEM MY DOG WOULD STILL BE ALIVE SINCE IT TOOK HER SO LONG TO FIND THE REAL PROBLEM I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP BECAUSE HIS DIGESTIVE TRACK HAD DIED.
I love this vet and her staff! My former vet had me muzzle my dog and my husband had to hold him down on the floor while the guy stood over him and jabbed him with a needle! Dr. Merritt had me bring him in and her staff talked to him and played with him (as much as he would allow). The Dr. fed him treats and took up time with him to lessen his fear. They are the best, IMO!
