I highly recommend Dr. Ehlers and the rest of the staff at 434 Animal Hospital. Dr. Ehlers truly listens and cares about his patients, and is easy to talk to. We have tried several Veterinarians in the area, and Dr. Ehlers always delivers when we need his help.

Dr. Ehlers and his support staff are really great. I CANNOT recommend seeing his associate Dr. Fonseca. He seems to not be a fit for the practice. He is judgmental, dismissive, has no people skills and never smiles. The staff appears to be aware of this. He does not come across as being on the same level of expertise as Dr. Ehlers, sorry to say. I highly recommend 434 Animal Hospital in spite of this associate.

Absolutely great with our little puppy. Very gentle and very professional. Added 7-28-2011: We have had multiple visits to this vet, and i can truly say they are amazing. My dog anticipates going here. The Vets are very gentle and friendly. The vet techs are also great, very friendly and nice people.

We relocated from Missouri in 2001 with 2 dogs and a cat. We searched long and far for a veterinarian who had a Midwestern sense of friendliness and who clearly put our pets first. Dr. Ehlers is the most caring, compassionate, kind-hearted, and pet-centered veterinarian we encountered. After trying 5 or 6 other vets from Dr. Phillips to Lake Mary, we have been lifelong customers since our first visit to Dr. Ehlers. They understand that pets are true family members, so much that they even sent us a beautiful flower arrangement and sympathy card when we lost our 1st dog. As an added bonus, he's located right around the corner in Longwood. Our only regret is that we didn't find him sooner. Thanks for everything. -The Shollenbergers
