The best vet you will ever have! Their love and care for our cat is great! It is obvious that they love pets and take great care of them. And what I also love is that their attitude is always fantastic. You will always be greeted with a smile! I would highly recommend them!

On Aug 5th 2014 at 6pm Our 9y/o Yorkie Poo ingested a poison and was literally dying in front of Micheal and I. Baby's vet is an hour away and we knew we needed immediate attention after calling 2 other local vet's who informed us they were closed, we desperately dialed the 3rd listing Long wood, they answered we informed the lady of what had happened, she told us to get Baby there, Even though they were Closed, the staff stayed. Standing in the door way a staff member (?Liz) was awaiting our arrival. She immediately rush Baby into the back, a Tech (?Kristy) kept us updated. Dr. Rogers came out also informing us of her progress, (Baby's heart rate was 240 and had a core temperature of 107 degrees) and another Female Vet MD (? Dr Wheeler) till she was stable enough to be transferred to the Emergency Vet Hospital, where she went into cardiac arrest shortly after we had left and was resuscitated. The morning of the 6th we picked her up and Michael brought her back to Long-wood Vet. clinic where they kept her for the day, while she was there Dr. Marrinson and the staff kept a close eye on her. Michael return at the end of the day to pick up Baby and Dr. Marrison, starting asking Michael questions, Dr Marrison had realized that Baby had Congestive Heart Failure that had been UNDiagnosised for many years by her vet of 9 years. Baby, Channel and Puscie Kat have found a new Vet to call Doctor... WE ARE SOOOO GRATEFUL AND CAN NEVER TRULY TELL YOU HOW MUCH WE ARE THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU..... You All did not know us and could have easily turned us away as the other 2 vets did. You All are Truly a Blessing to All who come in contact with you.... Michael, Kim, Baby (Yorkie Poo), Channel (Yorkie) and Puscie Kat (Himalayan)....

One of the most cruel facilities in the area. I would highly recommend that you stear clear from this clinic due to under-trained "Animal techs" and inhumane practices. Do yourself a favor and don't go here! I'm never going back.

From the moment you walk through the door, the team at Longwood Veterinary Clinic make you feel welcome and at ease. They always greet you with a smile and most importantly they take great care of your pets! They are not the closet to home but we wouldn't take our two miniature dachshunds any where else. Without doubt the best vets in the area!
