Our dog, Leah, has suffered from flea allergies for more than 5 years. At certain times of the year she is so miserable she has hives. We tried everything, and as her record shows we've made many extra trips to the vet hoping for some relief. At her last annual exam several weeks ago Dr. Rea talked to us about Apoquel. We were anxious to try it, but were also concerned about the effects of the medication. Apoquel is a miracle drug for our Leah. Her relief was immediate with no side effects. After the first 2 weeks, the dosage was cut to 1/2 tab/day. We give it to her in the morning with a tiny bit of peanut butter. I only regret that Apoquel was not released sooner. She's a happy pup -- no more itching! Thank you
