I had a client in the office trying to get information about taking her pet to Colombia. We could not reach a live person by phone at this office. The general APHIS website did not tell us the cost for sending the certificate, the timeframe involved, information on sending a return, postage-paid envelope, etc. It is very frustrating for me as a medical professional to waste 30 min. of my office time, back up other appointments, and come away with nothing. Why isn't there a live person answering the phones? Why does the automated system tell you to dial zero for an operator, then give you another recorded message? Very poor customer service!
