I have taken my pets to Russell Road Animal Clinic for over 4 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Harrington is and angel and has treated my animals with care and compassion. Even when i couldn't pay. She put my animals first and we always worked out a way of paying that I could live with. My pets are all that I have and she really seems to understand this. She always has time for me and always sets my mind at ease. She is a doctor to my pets and a friend to me. God bless her

I never write reviews about stuff but I feel I need to about my last experience with this vet. I have been going here for over ten years and they have always seemed good up until recently. The vet acts like her could care less and the receptionist is rude as hell. My dog just had to go there for stomach issues so they kept her a couple of days. They said she had canine pancreatitis but the vet didn't even talk to us about it or explain anything. I have tried calling to talk with him and he is always busy. On top of that, when my wife went to pick her up the second day she asked if we could pay half now and the other half tomorrow when we got paid and they told us the only way we could do that was to write a check they could hold. They wouldn't let us take our dog home. Remind you I have been going here for over ten years and have never ever not paid them. in the past they were always more than happy to work with us. On top of all that, I don't know what they did but now my dog has a big sore on her leg and was petrified when we took her to a new vet. The vet said it was an abscess but wasn't sure from what. I think the kennels they keep the dogs in are really dirty and they don't check on the animals. She has never been scared of the vet. I will never go back to this place.

This USED to be a good vet to take your pets to but not anymore! Over priced and you rarely see the vet. This is not a place that cares for your pet, they care more about your pocket. Most all vets in the area are WAY cheaper! I found several vets in the area that are anywhere from $50-$300 cheaper on just about every service. Not to mention one of the receptionists has the worst oral hygiene I have seen at ANY office. I am not bashing for the oral situation but it shows the standards of their facility. As the first face you see when you walk in , it is not a good impression. They also make you wait so long! They are the slowest and/or laziest people. This office has the personality of a lawyers office not a vet. Maverick is the cheapest in orange park, you wait an hour or 2 BUT they are great! You see a vet every time and the price is unbeatable!!
